Montego Bay Girls’ Trip Recap

I’m back with the most incredible girls’ trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica! My best friends and I went on our annual girls’ trip and spent 6 night and 5 days enjoying beautiful Jamaica. Let’s dive into all the amazing moments I had at the Hyatt Zilara during our escape to the tropics.

Club Mobay: VIP Treatment!

We decided we wanted to begin and end our Montego Bay Girl’s Trip in luxury, since we stayed at such a nice resort. I have heard of Club Mobay and wanted to give it a try, so we booked it for our trip. The team goes out of their way to make sure you get your vacation started as quickly as possible by bypassing all the lines at the airport – customs, security (on departure), etc. There is also a lounge that includes yummy Jamaican bites plus an open bar!

My arrival time was unfortunately a very busy one and I waited too long to book the service, so I was not able to get it on my arrival, but I had it for my departure. The service is incredible and worth every penny. My friends were able to book for both arrival and departure because we had different flight times. Being treated like VIPs at the airport with Club Mobay was a game-changer. No long lines, no fuss – just pure pampering! I highly recommend using this service, but be sure to book it early because it fills up fast. I learned first hand that being on the waitlist doesn’t mean much and it’s very unlikely you’ll get added on. I wasn’t granted access for my arrival but really loved my time during departure!

Checking in at the Hyatt Zilara: Pure Bliss

When we arrived at the Hyatt Zilara, we were greeted with warm smiles and those “Welcome to paradise” vibes that came in the form of rum punch. I’m a total tequila girly, but when in Jamaica, I switch to a rum diet! So good! Our suite was perfect for a group of 3 women. We had a bedroom and a living room with a bed. We also had 2 full bathrooms in our suite + butler service. The view of the ocean from our balcony was breathtaking and it was the perfect way to start the day each day. It felt like we were living in our own private oasis – you know, the kind you only see on Pinterest boards!

Beach and Pool Bliss: Living Our Best Lives

The beach at the Hyatt Zilara was everything you imagine a tropical getaway to be. Soft sand, crystal-clear waters, and palm trees swaying in the breeze – I was living for it! I will say you probably want to bring water shoes, as the entry into the ocean on the Zilara side has some rocks. It wasn’t unbearable, but I definitely would have entered the water more carefree and not so worried about hurting my feet if I had on water shoes!

Don’t even get me started on the pool area. The vibes every day were at a 15/10! The staff does such a great job ensuring that everyone is having fun by the pool.

Immersing in Jamaican Culture

You know I love my food, and Jamaica did not disappoint. We went on a culinary adventure, trying out everything from jerk chicken to fresh seafood. There were so many nightly activities that our butler kept us up to date on. On our first night, there was a festival that included lots of local foods + live music. We had so much fun! There was a silent party on our second night, it was my first time going to one … it was awesome! We learned a few new dances and stayed up way past our bedtime. I loved how the resort had a lot to offer everyone. There was never a dull moment!

Sunsets and Sisterhood: Priceless Moments

Our annual girls’ trip was a blast and I can’t wait to start planning the next one. We usually always go to Mexico, however, we agreed while that we could definitely see ourselves returning here very soon. Perhaps this will become the Annual Montego Bay Girls’ Trip!?!

In fact, I’m hoping to bring my family back to Montego Bay for fall break in October. Fingers crossed it works out! The Hyatt Zilara is adult-only, however, there is a family side to the resort called Hyatt Ziva and this is where I could totally see my family having a great time!

Can’t wait to share more from this fabulous trip with you! Stay tuned for an outfit roundup of everything I wore in Jamaica for this girls’ trip! You can check out more from my recent adventures here.Β
