I am just getting back from an amazing few days in Cabo with Shop Avara. We were there to celebrate the launch of their Resort Collection. Everything is so gorgeous! I shared quite a bit on my Instagram, but I’m sharing here on the blog as well. It is that time of year when vacations start to crank up!

In a perfect world, we’d all be able to take a full week off from work and go on vacation a few times a year. Here are 7 resort outfit ideas to wear on your next vacation. This is the first time in a long time that I’ve packed pants and wedges! Surprisingly, I really enjoyed wearing both this trip.

Denim is trending for fall and winter? Groundbreaking! Here’s my take on this winter fashion trend. I’m styling my most worn denim with a new addition to my closet – the Staud x Wrangler oversized jacket. I’ll also link some denim favorites that are worth shopping this season. Having great jeans in your wardrobe is essential. Here are my recommendations!

Must Have Denim:

Every pair of denim I own plus what’s on my wishlist. Just because denim is a winter fashion trend right now, it’s a staple that we all need to have a good rotation of in our wardrobes. When shopping, it’s important to stick to your personal style and not get too caught up on choosing a cut or style just because it’s trending. For example, Gen Z and younger are bringing back skinny jeans, and I’m not going back! I refuse! So always stay true to yourself. On that same note, low rise jeans have been trending, and as much as I resisted them, I happened to receive a pair in a PR package and fell in love! So stay open to new things as well in a way that feels comfortable to you!

There are so many ways to style denim on denim. Whether you prefer a denim shirt with jeans, a denim jacket with jeans, or even a denim style dress with fabulous denim toned boots, there are so many options! I love thinking outside of the box when it comes to this winter fashion trend, because while I love this denim jacket and jeans combo, there are so many ways to have fun with denim on denim! Don’t be afraid to try a few different combinations!

Back to school outfit ideas for yourself or your loved ones! It is already that time of year and teachers, students and parents are out shopping for new wardrobe pieces to prepare for back to school. I’m going to share for both boys and girls + teachers within this post, so whereever you fall, scroll on down for inspo!

The boys are headed to a new school this year with our BIG move to Florida. More on that in a separate post! So I have been looking online for great deals to have them ready to go back to school in style. However, being a fashion girly myself, I of course can’t help but to keep an eye out for the ladies too! Let’s get dressed!

BOYS BACK TO SCHOOL OUTFIT IDEAS

First of all, how cute were the boys in this photo. This was a few years ago. All the feels!! Jay is going to high school and the vibe is very much athleisure with cool sneakers. Gavin is going into 8th grade and it is honestly pretty much the same. The kids LOVE Nike or anything that gives that vibe. When in doubt with shopping for boys, basketball shorts (no longer than the 5″ or 7″ … trust me), graphic tees, logo socks and the latest sneaker is my go-to. Here is what I’m eyeing and buying for the boys. They have an extra 25% off sale event happening right now. It’s a great time to shop!

GIRLS BACK TO SCHOOL OUTFIT IDEAS

Now outside of being a girl myself, shopping for back to school for school age girls is a bit outside of my wheelhouse. Zoe is still wearing her play clothes that I find from Walmart and Target. Leggings, a t-shirt and cute shoes that don’t break the bank because she somehow stains everything! BUT if I had a school age daughter, here is what I would buy for her as someone who loves fashion!

Teacher Back To School Outfit Ideas

If I were a teacher, here is everything I would be buying this first semester. We can absolutely revisit this a few more times throughout the year because I know you’ll want a refresh!

They have great deals going leading up to the big day. And if your school offers the school supply packs or a local grocery store has them, I 100000% recommend doing that if you’re busy and need a hand! Wondering what to wear in Palm Beach? I just returned from a fabulous 4 days with girlfriends and experienced the city for the first time. Here is a roundup of everything I wore. I’ll share a recap of every where we ate and everything we did in a separate post. For now, let’s get into the FASHION!

When I was packing and trying to figure out what to wear in Palm Beach, I knew that I wanted to have fun with color and be really bold. Scrolling on Pinterest, I found that the outfit inspiration was all very feminine, chic and a bit on the conservative side — way different vibe than my Miami trip last year!  

What to Wear in Palm Beach: Day Time

During the day, we spent time by the pool, exploring the city and of course, shopping. You will want to pack comfortable sandals or sneakers. Here is everything that I wore!

POOLSIDE OUTFIT

My green bikini is an oldie but goodie from JADE swim, but I’m linking similar that match this gorgeous green coverup by Monday Swimwear. I’ve seen it all over social media and knew I had to have it to match the swimsuit I already own.

SHOPPING DAY

For a fun day of shopping and exploring the city, I wore a beautiful green dress and comfortable heels. I did pack a flat sandal as a backup, just in case, but I ended up being okay and not changing. I definitely recommend packing light dresses for each day. I linked a few for inspiration for you!

BOAT DAY

If you can, I 10/10 recommend scheduling a boat day with your friends! Here is what I decided to wear for a day out in the water in Palm Beach! My set is a popular “look for less” of a designer brand. Amazon has it along with several boutiques. I paired it with my PatBo swimsuit that I wore in Bora Bora. The combination together was stunning! Even if you don’t buy these exact pieces, I hope it shows you how to mix and match pieces in your wardrobe. I played into the blue detail from the set and brought it out even more with my sparkle bikini top!

What to Wear in Palm Beach: Night Life

Getting dressed up for dinner was so much fun! Here is everything I wore for our nights out in Palm Beach. We went in July and this is surprisingly considered the “off season” for the city. It was SO quiet at night. When planning dinner looks, I recommend leaning into your personal style. We were overdressed for a lot of places, but I honestly didn’t care. Dressing up and wearing beautiful, unique pieces is what I love to do! Luckily I was traveling with friends who fit that same vibe. Cocktail dresses and nice jeans + a great blouse would have been appropriate at all of the places we dined at.

Dinner Look 1

I spotted this gorgeous dress on ShopBop by CeliaB and immediately fell in love. I went back and forth about the price, but ultimately decided to go for it … YOLO! I know that I will get a lot of wear of it for years to come. It is such a unique piece.

Yellow, pink and orange was the theme of the night and I decided to wear my new set from Alemais! The brand gifted me a piece from their latest collection called Players and when I saw it, I knew that I wanted to bring it with me to Palm Beach. What do you think?!

The theme of the night was PINK for visiting the hot new restaurant in town, Pink Steak! I wore my Alice & Olivia set that I’ve had for a couple years now. It is sold out, but I’m linking great alternate ideas that would fit the vibe perfectly! I don’t know about you, but I love a theme when I travel! It makes packing so much easier.

Affordable gold jewelry to wear this summer that will last and not tarnish right away! Here is a roundup of what I wear often and love. Wearing gold jewelry is something that is a part of my daily uniform, so finding great pieces that are high quality and won’t turn my fingers or wrists green is very important to me.

Tennis Bracelets

I received jewelry from the brand Pavoi off of Amazon and have worn their tennis bracelet every day for almost 6 months. It has been in the shower, the ocean, the pool, rain, sweat and everything else you can think of! The quality is INSANE! I’m actually surprised that it hasn’t tarnished but it still looks beautiful. All of their products are amazing, but this is the one I wear every day and don’t take off.

For making a statement, I LOVE Julie Voss! Her pieces are more expensive but less than real gold. Some of my favorite outfits are finished off with pieces from this brand. It’s an obsession!

Earrings

I rotate my earrings a lot based off of my look, but my favorite, every day, easy, go-to affordable gold jewerly piece are my huggie earrings from Mack and Myyles Jewelry. I wear them every single day unless I am dressing up. I love how they are small and understated, but still very noticeable. When I’m wearing a big necklace or other large jewerly, these are great. Rings

Rings that I can wear every day are something that I’m always on the lookout for. When I travel, I like to swap out my real pieces with great looks for less that I can replace should something happen to them. Pavoi is another great Amazon seller when for rings when it comes to affordable gold jewelry. I like that they have the 14K gold plated and the 18K option that is a little more expensive. All of my rings from here have been great quality and have lasted. I’ll update this post as I find and try more brands.

Necklaces

Brands that I wear every day are: Mack and Myyles Jewelry (code: Steph20), RW Fine and Sequin Jewelry. I recently added a Kendra Scott “Star” necklace to my every day stack for the summer and it is great quality as well. Here are a few Sequin Jewelry pieces that always get a lot of compliments every time I wear them!

They just launched their latest spring/summer sandals collection at Dillards, so this was a party to celebrate and see everything in person! The theme was 1960’s bold colors and prints. I found this set on Revolve that I thought would be perfect! I also have a few trips coming up, so while it was a bit of a splurge, I plan to wear it a lot so it was worth it! What do you think? Do you love it as much as I do? I am wearing a size medium in the top, and a size small in the skirt. The details online say to size up, but I found that to be incorrect – at least for me!
