Stylish Work From Home Outfits

work from home outfits

I’ve recently joined the work from home club, and I have to say … I LOVE it. And while it feels like a whole new world to me, wearing comfortable, easy styles is not! I was made for this lifestyle. Ha! Today I am pulling together 5 work from home outfits that are both stylish and functional. Lets dive in!

Ready for Zoom

This look is the epitome of business on the top, party on the bottom. When I was working for Gucci, I would rock this often if I needed to take a call while working from home. What’s great about this look is you don’t have to be over the top with your blouse option. I linked several dressy looking pieces that could also be worn to relax on the couch.

Camera Off, On Mute

We all have those days when the camera is off, your mic is on mute and you are counting down the minutes to 5PM. And don’t let somebody call on you to chime in. “I’m sorry, I tuned out 30 minutes ago … can you repeat the question?” Save this look for days like that!

Working From The Couch (Or Bed … We Don’t Judge)

Comfortable clothes that can pass as pajamas deserve a special place in athleisure heaven. I tend to work from my bed, especially on my admin days. I know this will need to change once we finish our remodel, but until then, I am enjoying every minute of it. I’m actually writing this post while under the covers. Check out my picks for this scenario!

I Have Plans Later

This look is for those days when you need to be comfortable at home, but you’ve got casual plans later. I love a look that can take me from the work day to basketball practice to cocktails with friends. It’s important to include pieces in your wardrobe that are versatile. I hate that “I have nothing to wear” feeling. These options will help combat that and will hopefully reduce the amount of outfit changes needed in one day.

Classic Everyday Work From Home Style

The title speaks for itself. These pieces are your every day options that are perfect for the work from home life. Take a look …

Where do you shop for work from home looks? I hope you loved this roundup and found a few pieces that will work with in your wardrobe! Thank you for reading!

What To Wear: Black Tie Wedding

What To Wear: Black Tie Wedding

Wedding season is here, and if you are lucky enough to still have friends who are getting married, your wedding invites might be rolling in right about now. We know the bride will look incredible, but what will you wear? I pulled together a few options that will sure to have you looking like the best dressed wedding guest this season. But first .. a few tips to get you started!

When dressing for a black tie event, there is often a misconception that floor length gowns are required. However, as your resident fashion expert, I’m here to tell you there are a few other options to consider when getting ready for the big day.

Black Tie Wedding Tips

Here are a few tips that I recommend keeping in mind as you shop:

1. Know your bride. I say that because she will set the tone for the level of fabulousness you need to bring to the event. Of course the goal is NEVER to steal her shine, however, you don’t want to be underdressed.

2. Comfort is key. If you are anything like me, you can be found on the dance floor as soon as the DJ gives the green light. Keep this in mind when considering length and how elaborate your look is.

3. Rent a dress! Unless you attend black tie events on a regular basis, you may not have any great options in your current wardrobe. I’m here to tell you, that is totally normal and okay! Renting a dress from places like Rent the Runway is a great way to look fabulous without breaking the bank, or buying something that you won’t get a lot of wear out of.

Now for the dresses! Tell me, which is your favorite?

Pop of Color

Have some fun with your wedding style this season and add COLOR! It doesn’t matter if it’s a spring wedding or a fall wedding, be bold and have fun!

Sexy Details

A dress with interesting cut outs is sexy and a great conversation starter. I love these options.

Stylish Jewelry Options

I linked both bold, elaborate earrings and simple studs. Which style is more you?

Shoes You’ll Love

A gorgeous shoe is the perfect way to complete any outfit. Here are a few of my favorites for special occasions!

As always, have fun with fashion! Don’t over think it. Enjoy shopping this post and shoot me a note if there’s anything more you’d like to see. Tag me in your wedding looks! XO – Steph

Where To Shop For Pre-Teen Boys

kids fashion, boys clothes

As a mom of TWO pre-teen boys, I find myself constantly shopping for new clothes. They are growing so fast! We are at an age where they want to wear athleisure every where they go. Name brand athletic wear is what’s “in” right now according to the kids, but I only like to shop styles that are affordable and durable. I don’t know about your boys, but the shelf life for some of the things I buy them is VERY short.

Jay is in middle school and there is no more recess (thank goodness), so his shoes are lasting a bit longer. But before that, my mind would be blown at how worn and stained their clothes would be after school! Gavin has one more year and as much as I hate to see them get older, I am looking forward to this transition.

My Favorite Places To Shop for Boys

  • Walmart
  • Target
  • H&M
  • Zara
  • DSW
  • JCPenney
  • Nordstrom
  • Bloomingdales

Here’s a round up of things that I currently have in my cart for the boys, plus items that I have recently purchased. I tend to shy away from WHITE for obvious reasons, but occasionally will go for it, especially if it’s something the boys really like.

Jackets/Windbreakers for Back to School

I cannot recommend these enough. My boys are always wanting a jacket or a hoodie to carry with them to school. The classroom could be cold or it might rain. They like to be prepared. I found our windbreakers on sale at Bloomingdales and Nordstrom earlier this year, but I have linked some additional options that we love too.

Graphic Tees + Shirts

I buy the boys shirts in bulk at the beginning of the school year and then again after Christmas break for a little refresh. When Target has a sale, I love to stock up. Jay has gotten to the age where he’s a little more picky about the shirts I buy, so I’ve branched out to include H&M, Zara and places like Nordstrom to mix it up. Walmart also recently launched their Free Assembly line for kids and we’ve been loving those pieces also. We pair graphic tees and shirts with athletic bottoms or jeans. It’s nice to be able to wear it multiple ways.

Bottoms That Are Great for Active Boys

My sons rotate between basketball shorts, sweatpants and jeans. They would wear basketball shorts year round if I let them, but I do force them to wear jeans sometimes. Here’s a roundup of everything I love to buy for them. When it starts to get cold, the boys love to add tights under their pants. They also use these for basketball games, so I linked their favorites as well.

Shoes for Boys

When it comes to shoes, I love a bargain because of how hard the kids are on their shoes. It took years, but Jay FINALLY has learned the importance of taking care of his belongings. We’ve gone through more shoes than I can even wrap my head around. Thankfully, Gavin has always taken great care of his shoes, so he balances out his brother for sure. I linked their favorites below.

Be sure to follow me on Instagram or in the LTK app! As we transition to fall, I am looking forward to adding more pieces to the boys’ closet. Thank you so much for reading and for being here. I appreciate your support of my little corner of the internet. XO – Steph

Bathroom Remodel On A Budget

bathroom remodel, bathroom renovation, remodel ideas

We recently completed a remodel in our upstairs bathroom! We have enjoyed the transformation so much, so I wanted to share the bathroom remodel with you and some of the items we purchased.

A horrible leak is what jumpstarted this project for us, but I’m kind of glad it happened, otherwise, we may have still been dragging our feet to get started. If you are new here, we bought this house about 1.5 years ago and will be slowly updating it over the next couple years. It’s not our forever home, so we’re working to make smart updates that will serve us for years to come as we potentially make it a rental property down the road.

Now for all the bathroom remodel details! Dallas peeps, we used a local company to complete the remodel. I linked them here.

All About The Tile

Floor Tile

We selected a black hexagon tile that would add some character to the bathroom. I wanted something really cool looking without spending a lot of money. This is the exact tile that we purchased. They are 4 inches and only .79 per piece. We opted for a black grout (#10 Black Mapei) because I knew that keeping a lighter color grout clean in my son’s bathroom would be impossible. Plus, black just looks better in my opinion.

Shower Tile

In the shower, we did a vertical stacked bond using this tile. I loved the rougher edges and unique look that this type of stacking gives. I of course first saw this on Pinterest, and wanted to recreate it in my own space. We used a white grout in the shower (#38 Avalanche). The black and white contrast looks really good together.

Bathroom Accessories

We purchased our faucets off of Amazon and have been really happy with them so far. I am updating this post almost a full year after installing everything, and can tell you 100% that these were a great investment. The price point is great if you are remodeling on a budget. I linked everything below for easy shopping.

Faucets – Amazon

Shower Head – Amazon

Mirror – Hobby Lobby but I linked similar

I searched for months trying to find the perfect parts for the bathroom. I am really happy with how everything came together. We found this bathroom mat while shopping at Target one night and it really pulls the whole space together! I am still constantly adding little details even since these photos were taken!

Bathroom Lighting

I found our bathroom light on Wayfair! It is usually always on sale for under $120 and comes in a few other finishes. We went with black of course, but the brass option is also gorgeous. I love this light so much! It’s a great option that could work in almost any bathroom.

Bathroom Hardware

We purchased our hardware from Lowes! We only needed a few pieces so this was a small investment. If you are on the fence about whether or not to get hardware, I definitely think it elevates the look of the space. Go for it!

Cabinets and Paint

We had the cabinets custom made by 34 Oaks Fine Cabinetry in Dallas, TX, they are also doing our kitchen remodel and I can’t wait to show you. We selected a very simple white quartz countertop for this room and it is really easy to keep clean. I didn’t want anything to compete too much with the black hexagon floor we chose.

The cabinet color is also a really special detail. The color is so unexpected. I originally wanted all black and white, and Brooke Fish, designer that we worked with, suggested doing a color for the cabinets and I’m so glad I trusted her.

Cabinet Color: Sherwin Williams Mount Etna

Bathroom Details

I can’t wait to do more rooms in the house. My creative wheels have started to spin for sure! You can shop some of the bathroom details above, I’ve also linked the tile we used below. Thank you for reading!

The 2021 Fall Trend Report

2021 fall trend report

The 2021 Fall Trend Report is here! And in case you haven’t heard, the 90s are coming back in a major way. On top of that, you might see some other repeat performances that you loved in the early 2000s. Are you ready? Let’s get in to what’s hot for fall.

Loving (Faux) Leather

Leather tends to be a trend that never goes out of style. But this fall, you can expect to see even more looks to love within this category. From dresses to full on suit moments, I can’t wait to wear it all. I also recently got in a patent leather legging from Spanx that will be fun to style. Below are a few looks to get your wheels turning.

Chunky Lugg Boots

Combat boots are a must every fall, but this season, the chunkier the heel, the better! I linked several styles that I have my eye on from every price point. Remember, you can always shop the look for less if spending $1K on shoes isn’t in your budget. Shops like ASOS, Mango and Zara are great places to look for finding trending looks without breaking the bank.

Trendy Trench Coats

Here’s another staple that tends to make its way back each year. What I love to see this year is the pattern mixing and two tone options from a few designers. If you’re going to wear a classic fall piece, you might as well have some fun, right? Whether you prefer long or short, there’s a little something for everyone to love.

Pop That Collar

Sweaters with a collar are another trending look that I am seeing everywhere. I picked up this set from Nordstrom a few weeks ago and I already see a few more styles and colors that I want to play with this season. If you’re comfortable with it, my favorite way to style this sweater is with only 1-2 buttons buttoned, and the rest of the top open. Pair it with a wide leg jean, a matching sweater bottom or maybe even a faux leather legging.

A Little Puff Goes A Long Way

Make way for the puffer jacket and vest. The basic neutral colors are a given each season, so I wanted to show you a few really unique puffers that will totally turn some heads.

There’s so many more that I can’t wait to dabble into this season. Which is your favorite? Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today. Take a look around. There’s a whole new shop page available for you to check out. XO – Steph

Hair Talk: Where Did You Buy Your Weave?

sew in hairstyles, black women hair styles, weave, yummy hair extensions

Where Did You Buy Your Weave?

This is the most asked question I get in my DMs! Most people always lead with … “I hope you don’t mind me asking this” and I am here to tell you sis, I DO NOT MIND! At all! It took me a few tries to find hair that I am really happy with, so I am always happy to share the deets with you all.

Yummy Extensions

I bought my hair from Yummy Extensions. They have a boutique in Dallas, TX, but they also ship to you. I bought 4 bundles about 10 months ago and have used them for 4 installs now. The price point is significantly higher than what I was used to paying for bundles, but I could tell as soon as they were installed that you absolutely get what you pay for. I am beyond happy with the quality.

Here is exactly what I purchased:

Raw Cambodian Natural Wave

Length: 22″

yummy hair extensions, black women hair styles, weave

Here are the products that I use to maintain my hair and keep it looking healthy and natural every day! From tools to hair care, this is exactly what’s in my bathroom.

Shampoo/Conditioner

I really like the Design Essentials Almond and Avocado line when I’m washing both my extensions and my leave out. I feel like it does a great job of cleansing my hair and leaving it feeling very moisturized.

Wrap Lotion

The Nairobi Wrap Lotion is my go-to product! Design Essentials does actually have one from the line I mentioned above that I also use. I like to use this product after washing to lay down my edges and help me prepare to brush out my hair.

Living Proof No Frizz Vanishing Oil

I ordered this product because I was curious if it would work on my natural hair and I will say that it is a great product for controlling frizz. It is a true OIL, so a little it goes a long way. I don’t like to use a lot of this product.

Hot Tools

I rotate between ghd and T3. Both of these tools are great and I love them for styling my hair. I have the T3 wand with inter-changeable ends, the flat iron and curling iron! From ghd I have the flat iron.

How We Started Our Real Estate Business

steph taylor jackson

It’s no secret that owning real estate is an incredibly lucrative and great way to bring in passive income, while also building your net worth. I’ve shared a bit about our real estate journey on Instagram, but recently I’ve gotten more questions around “how” we got started so I wanted to dive into that a bit more.

We own 3 homes right now, with the hope of adding more properties to our portfolio in the future. We were in our early 20s when we bought our first home, and while this home is not still in our portfolio, this purchase laid the groundwork for us being able to get started with our investing. We purchased our first home in 2011 when the housing market was trying to bounce back from the housing crash. We had saved our money and were able to buy a property at a very good price. The community we were in was so nice, but there were so many homes for sale and going into foreclosure that it was viewed as an area that was not desirable. We saw the potential and went for it anyway and I’m so glad we did.

We Treat Real Estate Like a Business

We owned that home for several years and when we sold it, the housing market had started to turn around. The community we were in had started to gain a lot of traction and we were able to sell the home for significantly more than what we bought it for. The money that we made from the sale of that property positioned us to be able to start buying more homes.

This point is important because when everyone is desperate to sell, this is when you need to be ready to buy. Why? Because this is when you have the potential to make money. Do your research and save so that you’ll always be ready when an opportunity presents itself. I think it’s also important to decide what your goals are financially. We treat everything right now like a business opportunity. For example, the home we live in is not my “dream house” and there are so many things about it that I do not like. SO MANY THINGS!!! BUT we bought it from a family who was desperate to sell – it was listed for 180 days – so we got a great deal. It had the bones of what we needed for our family in terms of bedrooms and bathrooms, and we knew it had the potential to increase significantly in value over time.

Things that we look at when determining this include: area development, quality of schools, and comps from near by homes.

All About The Equity

We’ve owned the home now for 2 years and the property value has almost doubled. Meaning our earning potential has doubled on this home. For us, this purchase was a smart business decision. If we were ready to sell we’d take a very nice profit and be able to roll that money into another investment property.

I’ll be honest, removing the “emotional” part of home buying is not something that comes naturally for me. A lot of times when you’re looking at homes, it is an emotional purchase – it’s where your family will grow, it’s where you come home as newlyweds, it’s everything you ever dreamed of, etc, etc. For us, we’re always looking at the numbers, the potential, our net worth.

The real estate market right now is a great example of how buyers can put themselves into a difficult situation financially. I’ve seen reports where buyers are getting into bidding wars and paying well over asking price, and while this is fine if you really need to buy a home, I will say that if you can wait, WAIT.

I want to buy a home when people are desperate to sell, not when buyers are desperate to buy.

3 Tips For Getting Started in Real Estate

My best advice if you are interested in buying rental properties would be these key points:

  1. Keep an open mind on location and do your research on which markets/locations will allow you to get started and stay within your budget.
  2. If you can hire a management company, do it. I could not imagine managing each of our properties directly.
  3. Start saving NOW! Add the goal of owning multiple homes to your monthly budget so that you are prepared to put down a down payment or purchase a property outright when the opportunity presents itself.

I hope that answers some of the questions surrounding how we got our start! If there’s anything else you wan to know, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can read about how we paid off our home here. Thank you for reading!

Our Kitchen Remodel Moodboard

kitchen moodboard

We are remodeling our kitchen! I have wanted to take on this project ever since we bought this house, so the fact that construction has started is a dream come true. When we purchased our home, there was a lot that I didn’t love about the space. But we got a really good price on it and it had the potential to transform into a home we could love long term … with a little work. We’ve already completed two bathroom remodels, and after the kitchen, the last major project will be our bathroom.

Today on the blog I am sharing our moodboard for the kitchen remodel project. I really wanted to do something different. For a long time I thought I wanted a white kitchen, but after researching and spending hours on Pinterest, I realized that I was drawn more to kitchens with a little bit of color. Also the functionality of all white with my wild family seemed like more of a source of stress than inspiration!

I became obsessed with this Pinterest image and shared it with our designer for inspo. I loved the green/grey coloring of the cabinets, so we worked together to find a color that I would love in my home.

*Spoiler, we did a last minute color change just before production started, so you’ll have to wait to see the final color we went with in the final reveal!

I also really love gold accents and have purchased a few items that I think will really help bring the space together. We bought our half bathroom faucets from Amazon for our other remodel and I haven’t loved the quality over time, so we splurged a bit on the kitchen faucet. It’s going to be used every single day, so we need something that we can count on.

Our countertops have some great character to them, not too busy but interesting enough to really be the focal point of the room. I still can’t believe we are taking our ugly old L-shaped kitchen and transforming it into a gorgeous open space with an island. Ah! I can’t wait!

Keep following along on Instagram, as I share updates via Stories as often as I can. I can’t wait to share the big reveal soon. Things are starting to happen really fast. Do you create a mood board for your remodel projects? I feel like they really help keep me focused! You can shop a few items that we’ve purchased so far below!

Here Is Why I Quit My Job.

steph taylor jackson

I QUIT!

I dreamed of this day for years. On August 23, 2021, I submitted my letter of resignation, and for the first time ever it was not to go to another employer, but to work for myself and focus 100% on my brand.

What. A. Feeling.

It’s indescribable, really. I loved my job, but the love I have for myself, my family and the potential of growing something I truly enjoy even more kept pulling me to take the leap. If you’ve been around awhile then you know that I resisted this day for YEARS.ย  In fact, I think there’s a quote out there where I said I would never stop working. My thought process was, I’m in my prime earning years. I have a great job, great salary and amazing benefits. On top of that, I have a side hustle that generates more income than my 9-5 gig and is extremely lucrative. Why would I stop that cash flow?! Give me ALL the coins. Every single one.

A Change of Heart

Well, here’s what happened … I started to realize I was spending more time working than living. Adding a third child to the mix was a total game changer for me. Being on the road and always working was quickly losing it’s appeal. I LOVED being busy and juggling multiple plates to the point of exhaustion. But I started to wonder after Zoe was born … do I REALLY enjoy this or am I just so used to this hustle that I’ve conditioned myself to keep going no matter what? The last few months revealed to me that it is the latter.

Why am I working two jobs when I don’t have to? Am I scared to take the leap? Am I being greedy? Is money more important to me than my husband and children? All questions I started asking myself while sitting in hotel room after hotel room alone during my travels for work. I didn’t need to work outside of the home, and yet I kept grinding as if I didn’t know where my next meal was coming from.

Time For A Change

It was TIME. Every ounce of me felt it. I also knew when my husband was bugging me about when my last day at work would be that it was a sign. He’s always been a bit more cautious than me. So here we are, a few days into working for myself and there’s no looking back. I want to share 3 things we did to prepare for me leaving my job in hopes that it will help you too:

  1. We saved a good portion of our income to be able to live off of in worst case scenarios. I would recommend a full year salary or more if you can. Our monthly budget is set up in a way that allows us move money around to ensure we are saving and investing appropriately.
  2. We eliminated all debt and we live significantly below our means. No student loans, no car debt, we have a house payment but could pay off the entire mortgage right now if we really wanted to.
  3. We invested in income generating assets. We own real estate, so when our tenants pay rent, we get paid. We also keep our savings in accounts that generate a % return every month. It’s like getting paid off of your savings and it is awesome! More on that in a future blog post.

What’s Next?

I don’t know how I’m going to feel with all of this freedom. So much of my life, and what I share has always been with a job in mind … “I better not say that, I have people from work watching” “I can’t be on Instagram right now, my job will think I’m not focused on work” and so many other scenarios but WOW … I work for myself now! My first order of business will be establishing a daily routine and content plan. From there, I look forward to experimenting with more things that I’ve always wanted to do but felt too overwhelmed to add anything else to my plate.

I am so excited and grateful to God for this opportunity. Thank you so much for being here! AHHHHHHHHH let’s do this!!!!

Normalizing Luxury: August Splurges

louis vuitton coussin pm

I believe we can have healthy conversations about building wealth and normalizing luxury in the same space. For that reason, I decided to add a fun spotlight on last month’s splurges that were totally not necessary, but made my little heart happy. If you follow me on Instagram, then you’ve seen a few of these purchases make their debut within my feed! But here is a quick review of each … more to come with styling and outfit ideas.

1. Louis Vuitton Coussin PM – Camel

This bag has been on my mind for months. She is such a beauty and hard to find, but I got lucky one day while on my way into work. I was convinced it was a sign that I needed to buy … so I did! I’ve carried her only a handful of times so far, but I love using the chain when I’m dressing up and the strap when I’m going a bit more casual. I can’t link directly to Louis Vuitton, and the bag is sold out online but I did see one available at Fashionphile!ย

2. Chanel CC Earrings

While on a business trip in New Orleans, I stopped by the Chanel boutique in Saks to look at Chanel 19 bags. There was one that I had my eye on and almost bought, but ultimately decided to settle for earrings. These had just arrived and were so cute on. I love the detail and the size. Would you believe these were under $500 in the boutique? It is hard to find Chanel second hand right now at a good price, but I did link a similar style to the ones I got and they are around $600.

3. Louis Vuitton Nanogram Hoops

One of my favorite influencers to follow (Emily Ann Gemma) always wears these hoops and I was influenced to buy them! I love the size and the subtle branding. So very chic. I’ve worn them several times and always get compliments on them. I think fashion jewelry is a great way to start incorporating luxury into your wardrobe if you are on a budget. I have been really in to earring lately!

What is on your luxury wishlist? I still want a new Chanel bag eventually, but haven’t pulled the trigger just yet. I will get my full wishlist up on the blog soon! Maybe some of mine will also be some of yours too! Thank you so much for reading! You can shop the post below.

5 Foundations Every Woman of Color Should Try

Beauty Chat: 5 Foundations Every Woman of Color Should Try

Finding the right foundation shade as a woman of color, used to be such a daunting task. Mixing shades and brands to try and get the right match is something that I remember very vividly; it was not that long ago! Even still, brands have room to evolve and grow in terms of inclusivity for all skin tones within the beauty industry.

Today on the blog, I’ve rounded up the top 5 foundations that I think every woman of color should try. After completing this roundup, it got me thinking about tinted moisturizers and bb/cc creams that I love as well. Perhaps this will be future blog post down the road. Until then, let’s dive it!

makeup for black women, women of color, melanin beauty

1. Foundation Every Woman of Color Should Try

Too Faced Born This Way offers a very wide range of shades and is a great option for women of color. This was one of the first foundations that I tried and didn’t have to modify to match my skin. I love a matte primer with this product, however, depending on the finish you are looking for, it is really adaptable to whatever you like. I recently learned that they are coming out with a Matte version of the original Born This Way foundation and I CAN.NOT.WAIT to try it out. I’ll keep you posted once it launches officially. My shade is Chestnut.

2. Foundation Every Woman of Color Should Try

NARS Radiant Foundation has such an amazing application. I love the shades and tones that this line offers. This foundation offers a very natural finish. I use this brand frequently when I want to achieve a “no make-up,” make-up look. My shade is New Caledonia.

3. Foundation Every Woman of Color Should Try

The Lancome Ultra Wear Foundation was a pleasant surprise. My older sister, who has a darker complexion than I do, uses this brand and loves it. I knew I wouldn’t have a problem finding the right shade, but I didn’t know that I would enjoy it as much as I have. This is another great option for a very smooth, natural finish. I rotate between a matte primer and regular, every day primer. Both of the finished results are SO good! My shade is 500 Suede W.

4. Foundation Every Woman of Color Should Try

Tarte Face Tape is currently my most used foundation. I was skeptical of Tarte being a brand with makeup for black women because it took me a while to find the right shade. However, when I finally got it right … OMG! WOW! Face Tape has been in heavy rotation for me. It is extremely comparable to Born This Way in application and finish. My shade is 53S for reference. 5. Foundation Every Woman of Color Should Try

Last but certainly not least (this list is in no particular order by the way), Fenty Pro Filt’r Hydrating Foundation. This foundation is a game changer. I fell in love with the original, but quickly fell out of love because it was to dry for my skin. The hydrating formula was perfect for me. I wear this foundation when I really want to get glam. It offers great coverage and an amazing finish. My shade is 370.

A Brand I love But Had To Let Go:

Estee Lauder Long Wear Foundation. Man I love this foundation, it is so good and would be in my top 5 choices for makeup for black women, but I don’t love their strong political affiliations. I made a personal decision to stop supporting this brand until changes are made. #sorrynotsorry lol.
