Casual Fall Outfit Ideas

Fall is here! Which means it’s time to start styling fall outfits for the season. Today I’m teaming up with Walmart to share a few casual fall outfits that will be great for anything you have going on.

Each season there are new trends to follow and improvements made to classic styles. I love to follow along and get inspired!

Casual Fall Outfit #1

Styling neutrals is probably my favorite thing to do in the fall. I was so excited to see the brand Free People on Walmart’s website. I wasn’t sure if this dress would work with the bump due to the length, but I sized up to a large and it fit perfectly! For the perfect casual fall outfit, I added an oversized cardigan and a pair of white sneakers.

Casual Fall Outfit #2

A basic white t-shirt and distressed jeans are my go-to for any season. For fall, I love to grab a checkered shirt, tie it around my waist. This casual fall outfit can be completed with either a sneaker or a boot. Walmart has several colors available in the plaid shirt shown above, so there’s a little something for everyone.

Casual Fall Outfit #3

This adorable dress comes in multiple color options! Add a denim jacket and a bootie for fall and you are ready for work or the weekend. The look is extremely versatile. I can think of several places I would wear it to. If booties aren’t your thing, sneakers would also be very cute with this look.

Most Used Designer Bags: Gucci

Today I’m sharing my top 3 most used designer handbags within my Gucci collection! I also realized after pulling all the girls out of their dustbags that I have quite a few logo bags. I need to mix it up! I think my next bags will be fun colors, no more classics unless I come across something I absolutely have to have.

Most Used Designer Bag: Marmont Mini Bag

This little bag is the newest to my collection. I have really surprised myself with how often I have used her. The size is just really convenient, especially if I do not need to bring a lot with me. I’ve shared this bag a few times on Instagram, and the most asked question is “what fits inside?!” I usually carry two phones, Air Pods, car keys and my essential cards with me. There are card slots inside the bag so I don’t need to bring a wallet. I’ve also done a two phone and sunglasses combo in the bag if my husband is driving and I don’t need my keys. The bag is great for essentials!

Most Used Designer Bag: Horsebit 1955

The Gucci Horsebit 1955 is definitely my next most used bag. When I saw this bag last year, I knew I needed it. It is such a classic that I can style so many different ways. She takes the most casual outfit and adds a touch of chic. I really enjoy carrying her. There are three compartments inside, so on typical work day I can fit both phones, my computer charger, car keys, Air Pods and small card case in this bag.

Most Used Designer Bag: Ophidia GG Supreme Tote

Oh how I love this bag. When I was traveling every other week for work, this bag was my go-to. It can fit so much, I’m almost embarrassed to share all things that have been stuffed into this bag. I like to carry something soft to keep at the base of the bag because I don’t like what my laptops do to it’s shape, but there are also organizers you can buy from Etsy. With travel almost coming to a complete halt, I still use her for work, but not quite as often these days. I recently ordered the backpack from this collection as well for days when I want to be hands free. Another reason why my next handbag purchase needs to be something wild and fun! Lol! I’m a sucker for classics.

32 Week Bump Update

Well here we are, 32 weeks pregnant and officially in countdown mode for baby girl. The weeks are flying by. It’s so crazy to feel her moving in my stomach. Baby girl is definitely getting STRONG and loves to keep me up at night. I’m not sure there’s much more room for her under my ribcage, but I know she’ll find a way.

My doctor appointments are every 2 weeks now and will soon be moving to weekly once I hit 36 weeks. Here’s a quick breakdown of the last few weeks since my last update!

My body is going through so many changes, even more so at 32 weeks. Even though it’s definitely hard, I’m trying to enjoy every moment of this miracle. With my first two sons, I worked a lot and I feel like I missed out on so much. With that in mind, taking it slow and enjoying the moment has been my focus this time around. I don’t want to miss anything or forget the kicks, hiccups and nudges to my ribs.

Affordable and Stylish Baby Girl Clothes

Asked and answered! I’m often asked where I shop for my baby girl that is on the way, so I wanted to share my favorite baby girl clothes and where to find them at an affordable price. I’m a little crazy when it comes to clothes. In my mind, I have this whole idea of how I want to dress her. This isn’t my first rodeo, so I know that this all will change once she’s here, but I’m definitely having fun shopping.

When it comes to stylish baby girl clothes, I shop at a variety of places. I love to find great deals, because spending a lot of money on clothes that she’ll grow out of in a few short months feels so wasteful.

Where I Shop for Stylish Baby Girl Clothes:

For the first 3 months, I focused mainly on basics for her. Onesies, pajamas and easy outfits that she’ll be comfortable in. For size 3-6 months, I started getting more actual outfits. If you are expecting a girl soon or know someone who is, I hope that you found a few pieces of baby girl clothes that you love! We have about 7 weeks to go and I cannot wait for our daughter to be here. It’s getting so real that there will be another person in our house soon.

Date Night In Outfit

Date night has looked a little different lately, we’ve been doing a lot of date night in vs. out with Covid cases still very high in Dallas. Staying in hasn’t stopped me from wanting to dress up and still feel my best for a night in with my hubby though. I pulled together a look from Nordstrom that is the perfect date night in look.

Styling the bump has become a sport at 32 weeks pregnant, but the competitive spirit in me is constantly looking for ways to win in the pregnancy fashion arena. I’ve found comfort in styling dresses. Whether they are casual or dressy, they seem to be much easier to slide on the bump as opposed to a full top and bottom look every day!

I can always find what I need, at a great price. I’ve shared this before and I’ll keep sharing it … the key to slaying pregnancy fashion is to dress the bump as you would your normal body! Life Hack: Walmart Express delivery

Back to School is here and I’ll be honest, we were prepared in many aspects, but I waited until the last minute to get school supplies. I haven’t been going to the store much lately and since we are doing virtual learning, I sincerely felt like we wouldn’t need much!

Fast forward to the first day and Gavin couldn’t find a blank notebook to write in! Since everything is on the computer and the school gave whiteboards for the kids to write on to show the teachers their work, I didn’t even think about writing paper or notebooks! LOL Talk about unprepared.

I’ve worked with Walmart quite a bit over the last couple years and I recently learned about their Express delivery option. It came in handy for us on the first day of school! I ordered everything online that they might need and it was delivered to our door (as promised) in 2 hours or less.

Bodysuit Style

If you’ve followed my pregnancy at all then you know that I’ve been taking my bump style very seriously! Haha! I love dressing my pregnant belly. One thing I’ve been really enjoying is bodysuits. I found the most perfect fall transitional piece from Walmart the other day – a sleeveless, turtleneck bodysuit.

I rounded up a few more bodysuits that are a must see. Pair with jeans, a skirt or shorts and booties, there are so many ways to style bodysuits this season. Of course the price point doesn’t hurt either! I love shopping for fashionable pieces from Walmart because it’s trendy but also affordable.

I am officially 32 weeks pregnant and honestly, the further along I get, the more creative I have to be with the clothes I wear. I want to keep it stylish, but at the same time I do not want to spend a lot of money on clothes that I won’t be able to wear after the baby.

25 Week Bump Update

Can you believe it’s already time for a 25 week bump update? Well, somehow I looked up and I’m over 25 weeks pregnant. This pregnancy is going by so very fast. I can’t believe we have just a few more weeks to go. Other than really craving an alcoholic beverage (ha!), everything has been going really smooth so far.

The boys are still very excited for their sister to arrive. Gavin has designated himself as the stroller pusher. As soon as the new stroller arrived, he was more than ready to put it together. Jay is the very responsible oldest brother. If I say a bad word or do something he thinks I shouldn’t, I get an ear full about how I need to be more responsible. He’s hilarious.

We’ve also made huge progress on preparing for baby girls arrival. Today I’m going to share what we’ve bought plus a check in with how I’m feeling, what I’m craving and what I’m wearing these days.

If you are also pregnant, how far along are you? This is my 3rd pregnancy and I’m feeling really grateful for the opportunity to bring our baby girl into the world. I was officially 26 weeks on July 19, so less than 100 days to go.
