We are finally going to complete our primary bathroom remodel and I cannot wait to bring you along. This remodel project has been something we have wanted to do for years, but we started in other rooms of the house first. Our kitchen remodel is still my favorite project to date. And the boys’ bathroom remodel has been shared on Pinterest over 100,000 times! For our primary bathroom remodel, I wanted to brighten the space with tones of white, grey and gold throughout.
Unlike my previous projects, I didn’t have the help of an interior designer to guide me, however, since this was our 3rd bathroom, I felt pretty confident making selections. It also helped that I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted. This time around we used What’s Next Remodeling for our construction project. I found them via a quick Google search and it ended up being the absolute best find. They are quick and do incredible, quality work. I have recommended them to so many local Dallas people who need a project completed.
All About Our Primary Bathroom Remodel
Our home was built in 2016 and had all builder grade finishes. Everything was brown and extremly underwhelming. I certainly didn’t choose this house for it’s looks, but it had a lot of potential. Our primary bathroom is the last major project in our house before we put it up for lease. We didn’t want to spend the $40K that we were originally quoted by another company, so I really appreciated our contractors understanding that this home would be a rental. Meaning, we want it to look beautiful without breaking the bank.
Keeping the same layout, the existing cabinets and the existing tub helped in our cost savings as well. Here are all the details and some photos for you to see the process and transformation!
All tile was sourced from Floor and Decor. The mirrors are from Living Spaces. What’s Next Remodeling had the shower glass custom made and we had photos taken before it was fully finished. The house was originally for sale before we changed courses and put it up for lease.
